The New Jersey Nets finally won another game on Wednesday night, 104-95, good enough for their 3rd victory of the season and their 1st win over the New York Knicks this year. With the victory, the Nets finally halted yet another 10-game losing streak. New Jersey had it's legitimate starting-five playing together, healthy for the first time, and the results illustrated that fact.

All 5 starters scored in double-figures for the Nets, who were led by Brook Lopez's 21 points and 14 rebounds. Yi Jianlian added 22 points of his own, while Devin Harris and Chris Douglas-Roberts each tallied 17 points. Veteran Keyon Dooling, finally getting into shape again after battling a hip problem, poured in 12 points as a spark off the bench for the winning team.
For the Knicks in defeat, David Lee put in another solid night's work by delivering 24 points, 15 rebounds, and a surprising 8 assists. Al Harrington had 25 points and 9 rebounds off the bench, and Wilson Chandler chipped in for 15 points of his own. The Knicks did everything right, out-assisting, out-rebounding and shot a better free-throw percentage than did the Nets. But, they just couldn't put the ball in the basket, as they shot less than 45% from the field and turned the ball over 15 times. With the defeat, the Knicks drop to 12-20 on the season and are on the outside looking in for that last and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
