The New Jersey Nets did some house cleaning in an attempt to save some more money during their disaster of a season. The soon-to-be Brooklyn-based franchise and former And1 point guard Rafer Alston agreed to a contract buyout, the terms of which were not disclosed. Following the termination of Alston's contract, the Nets then swung a deal with the Miami Heat to acquire seldom-used point guard Chris Quinn and a 2012 second-round draft pick, in exchange for a heavily protected 2010 second-round draft pick.

Chris Bosh has been a Toronto Raptor since being selected 4th overall in the 2003 Draft. In his 7th NBA season, and 474th game Sunday night, Bosh became the Raptors' new franchise scoring leader by drilling a jumper with 1:39 left in the 3rd quarter over San Antonio Spur Richard Jefferson. Bosh needed 15 points tonight to eclipse the old franchise mark of 9,420 points that Vince Carter held. The All-Star from Georgia Tech ended the contest with 22 points and 15 rebounds as well as grabbing a massive 91-86 win over the Spurs in front of the Air Canada Centre fans.

The Milwaukee Bucks kicked off their 2010 with a 103-97 overtime victory at the Bradley Center Saturday night, breaking their 4-game losing streak and ending the Oklahoma City Thunder's 5-game winning stretch. Kevin Durant hit a jumper for the travelling Thunder to make the score 88-88 with 2:33 remaining in regulation. The rest of the fourth period was a blur of each team missing several changes to change the game's outcome. Alas, the contest went into overtime.

Roger Mason Jr. put up a season-high 20 points off the San Antonio Spurs bench as the Washington Wizards fell at home to the 20-11 Spurs, 97-86. Coach Flip Saunders and the Wizards front office have bigger problems than a 10-21 record. Gilbert Arenas shot 10 of 25 and played exactly 35 minutes to post 23 points amidst a huge gun and gambling controversy surrounding 'Agent Zero' and teammate Javaris Crittenton. Crittenton has been unavailable to play since right foot surgery on November 1st.
